Define your ideal audience
Are you struggling to find your ideal audience?
You’re not alone.
I’ve worked with a lot of agency owners who face this issue, when you are not clear on your audience, choosing how to market your agency is really difficult, and you may not be attracting the right type of client.
In order to help you determine who your ideal audience is, we’ll look at that question in the context of the 5A Framework.
- Who is your ideal Audience?
- Are you Aware of where to reach that audience?
- Can you identify your audience’s problems in order to Attract them?
- Are you established as an Authority? and,
- Do you have a system in place to Acquire those leads?
As I’ve already mentioned, I’ll cover the remainder of the five A’s in a series of emails I’ll be sharing with you.
First things first, It’s time to get clear about who your audience is.
Is your ideal client a fortune 500 company or are you looking to work with startup companies?
In order to get to know your ideal client, you’ll need to define their demographics, psychographics, and geographics.
Once you’re clear on these three, it’s much easier to answer the question of where they are and how to attract them.
The key to attracting the clients you want to work with is to address what matters to them, not what matters to you.
When you market your agency, whether you’re writing an article or running an ad, everything should always be in the context of your audience’s problems, their pain points, and the issues they face.
If you speak to that and direct your discipline through that context, you will attract your ideal client.
(and you’ll only be able to do this once you get crystal clear on your WHO)
